Ghost of Tsushima – How to Get Steel
An another material in Ghost of Tsushima is Steel and it is being used to upgrade your melee weapon, the higher the rank, the higher is the Steel amount.
The material Gold is used to get your melee weapon to a high-level upgraded and Gold is on of the rarest material in Ghost of Tsushima. Any Swordsmith can either upgrade your Sakai Tanto or your Sakai Katana. It will require some Gold at the last few upgrades.

Wax Wood is on of the rarest material in Ghost of Tsushima and it is being used to craft high-level Bow upgrades. The other needed materials for upgrading your Bow are Baboo and Yew Wood which grow everywhere in the wild.

- Gold can be bought from Trappers in exchange for Supplies, so as many times mentioned, make sure to gather all Supplies crossing your way.
- Liberating enemy Strongholds give you a fixed amount of 2 Gold, you can see it on your map by looking up for the red building icons. This counts not for Enemy Farms (red wheat icons) or small Outposts (red dots).
